INVESTING IN NATURE
Conservation Journeys is an investment consortium of nature travel experts and conservation financiers. We are using our combination of industry expertise and capital to finance new travel experiences to support some of the world’s most important nature conservation initiatives.
CARPATHIAN MOUNTAINS, ROMANIA
We are developing a new wilderness lodge in an amazing valley in Romania’s wild and beautiful Fagaras mountains. We are working in collaboration with one of Europe’s most innovative conservation initiatives, which is working to protect virgin forests and has recently reintroduced bison to this spectacular part of the Carpathians.
LUANGWA VALLEY, ZAMBIA
We are presently exploring options for a new tented camp in perhaps the most remote and beautiful part of the Luangwa valley. On the banks of a river in the heart of a wonderful conservation area. We plan to work in collaboration with the Zambian national parks authority and its NGO partner, supporting wildlife and communities in this amazing part of Africa.
TIGER CONSERVATION, INDIA
We are exploring locations for a new tented camp in a tiger reserve in central India. Our ambition is to work in collaboration with one of India’s most innovative conservation initiatives, bringing benefits to local communities and helping to develop new forms of nature tourism in support of tigers and other wildlife conservation priorities.

Our team have decades of experience in the travel industry and we work in close collaboration with leading global conservation organisations and inspiring local initiatives. Through our long-standing relationships we offer behind-the-scenes experiences and insights into some of the world’s most inspiring nature conservation stories.
NORTHERN KENYA
We offer customised journeys in support of several inspiring conservation initiatives in northern Kenya. One of the most important ecosystems in Africa, conservation priorities include forest protection on Mount Kenya, rhino conservation in Laikipia and a network of inspiring community conservation initiatives stretching as far as Lake Turkana.
TROPICAL ISLANDS, INDONESIA
We offer journeys to an incredible island archipelago in Indonesia, one of the planet’s most important marine conservation initiatives. A partnership between local communities and an inspiring conservation project team, this is one of the most intact coral reef systems on earth, protecting threatened species and creating sustainable employment for local people.
ANDES AND AMAZON, BOLIVIA
From the high Andes to the wilds of the Amazon basin, our journeys in Bolivia support one of the most biodiverse regions on earth. A long-standing collaboration between a leading global conservation organisation, the Madidi National Park and local communities works to protect rare wildlife and create sustainable financing models for nature.
